Managing Anxiety Naturally: Dr. Thomas on KMOX Radio's Aisha and Debbie Dish Podcast

Posted by on

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18+. Anxiety disorders can develop from a number of risk factors, including genetics, brain chemistry, different life events and personality.

While anxiety disorders are highly treatable, less than 40% of those suffering receive treatment.

Dr. Zinia Thomas, a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and owner of Radiance Float + Wellness, joined St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Aisha Sultan and Debbie Monterrey on their podcast "Aisha and Debbie Dish" to discuss natural ways of managing anxiety. The ladies also discussed ways of helping kids destress and manage their anxiety through float therapy, essential oils and more.

Listen to the podcast here and let us know if you were as relaxed as the ladies by the end of it!
